MindaNOW

half awake
half asleep
i see my own people
speaking in
different tongues
tracing their ancient roots
offering diverse prayers
to gods and goddesses
they call themselves
different names
different tribes
sitting in one circle

i pray that
this may be
the day
that our identity
becomes a name
never spoken
never heard
for it remains
divine
as sacred as the sun
that chooses no one
sees no color
but all under heaven
the sons of the earth
shall understand
the same language
for it is true to each one
that we come from
one origin
and so we
burry the fear
that we no longer
know our culture
for deep in our hearts
we know
we abide one and
the same
universal law
so may the great love force
shall melt the differences
and lead us back to the truth
so we make our lives
a truly
work of art
