if life is about waiting
wait

to die
what happens in between
the white and non white
shadows following
non existence
indifference
non partisan
"deadmama"
till the body turn to dust
powdered by a shredder
finally becomes useful fertilizer
as the unknown hero
then i have done for a country
which gave me extreme joy and sorrow
which made me complete

worm and the guava
come full circle
transformed
becomes new
for life as a Filipino
is not only about waiting
for the false promises to be done
by the phantoms of the congress and senate
but for life to unfold
in the streets
where most of us belong
homeless
jobless
paid less
loveless
landless
hopeless
but odds of life CAN'T beat us
a Filipino is born NOT to be defeated
but to thrive as world class artisans and workforce
the epicenter of civilized powerplay
the crucifixion of the weak
but this nation has evolved
risen from ashes
to shine over discrimination
to brush off indifference over a denied VISA
to laugh at idiosyncrasies
to master the art of poverty and innovation
to strengthen the resolve of a hungry stomach

for life to unfold
